The providers and staff at the FCMG Hinsdale Office are pleased to inform you that we have been approved to receive and administer the vaccine to prevent Covid-19. Currently we have been allowed to "pre-book" vaccine by NYS Department of Health. At this time we don't know which of the vaccines we will receive or when. Private offices will only be allowed to administer the vaccine to patient 75 years and older initially. Workers who fall into the 1B group designated by NYS m...ust receive the vaccine at their county health department currently. Your providers are currently reviewing their patient lists for those who are eligible and we will contact you when we are certain of the vaccine availability to schedule an appointment. Please be patient with us! We recommend that any patients who have access to the vaccine through other venues at this time receive it when it is offered. We are confident in the efficacy and safety of the vaccine for the vast majority of our patients, but those with specific concerns can of course always ask our advice. ALL of the providers at this office have been vaccinated without any significant side effects. We look forward to the time when we will be free to vaccinate all our patients. During these challenging times the staff, nurses and providers at Family Care Medical Group in Camillus wanted all of our patients to know that we are thinking of them. We continue to strive to take care of our patients needs while optimizing the safest environment as possible. We wanted to offer you an update. Our office is currently open to see patients, there is a limited waiting room with social distancing. We have a medical assistant greeting all patients asking about sy...mptoms, taking temperatures and managing the waiting room. Each patient is given a mask at the door if not already wearing a mask, and instructed to wash hands often. All of our staff is wearing proper PPE to keep you safe. However, as numbers of COVID-19 nationally and in Onondaga county increase we continue to offer Telemedicine appointments as well. We are also seeing patients who are exhibiting symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, fever, nausea, vomiting in our separate clinic area. During those evaluations we are able to offer COVID testing if deemed necessary by the provider. Current turn around times are about 36-48 hours.

Hi All - Dr.'s Lawless, Miller, Page, and Procopio, are happy to announce the addition of Dr. Kristine Faulknham to practice starting in mid-September of this year. Dr. Faulknham is a graduate of SUNY Upstate and is finishing her Residency at the University of Connecticut. Her interests within Family medicine include pediatrics and women's health. Dr. Faulknham grew up in the 1000 Islands and looks forward to returning to Syracuse to start her career as a Family Physician in our office. Please call the office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Faulknham starting in mid-September.

Hi All - If you have recently been to Ascioti's Market in Solvay on March 17th between 12:30 pm -4:30 pm you may have been exposed to COVID-19. If you are experiencing shortness of breath, fever, and/or cough please call the office at 315-488-0996 to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
