Easter baby for 2021 Happy 14th birthday to my new partner in crime. Two Times The Lace Lacie ... This mare is our rock and it’s been a long road with her these last 7 years. It all started in the western pleasure arena and now we chase cans. Thank you for teaching me 6 years ago how to ride a green horse. Thank you for teaching my top student how to lope. Thank you for trying your heart out every day. You deserve a lot more then I can ever give you cause you’ve given me a lot more then I ever deserved. Here’s to many more years together baby girl.

When I first ment him he was a scared of the world 3 year old Arabian gelding. He came home to use July 11th 2019. He was a tall bay but wasn’t filled out yet he had a lot of growing today. His first day here I found he had little to no confidence in himself he was hard to catch in his stall and was deathly afraid of his hind legs being touched. He hot lapped in the pastures every day for an hour to two hours. Everyday no matter how much he got worked or got out. A few days a...fter getting him I put his first saddle and bridle on here. This was suppose to be a good journey and be the start of our life’s but it had other ideas. I let him sit for a while and just learn the property I gave him about a month to really settle in. At exactly one month of owning Solo I sat on him bareback for the first time. This was what I thought would be the rest of my life riding this powerful animal. A few weeks later I put his first western saddle on and got led around on him. The next week I had my first official ride walk trot on a lunge line with him. Few days after that it was a walk trot canter ride. My next ride on him would send me to an er to get stitches. He didn’t accept the bit or the pressure. And as an horse person would I felt so so bad for pushing him. This would be the end of trying to ride Solo for a while. I let him sit over the winter we just lunged and learned halter. I got his teeth done in February of 2020. Then a few months later I sat on him again and started to trust him again. I know he didn’t mean to hurt me. I starated bit lunging him and tacking him randomly that summer. Then I sat on him again with a saddle but this time would be the time that changed our life’s forever. About a month after sitting on him I put his first through fifth ride on him bareback in a halter. Then a saddled him and started riding him with a saddle. Then the halter turned into a hackamore which then turned into a side pull. Then he got shoes. His 13th ride was the first time I cantered him undersaddle. My 15th ride was my first lesson ever on him. Then I put a bit in his mouth. The next day I ride him with a saddle with the bit and he was so so good. Then I had another lesson with him. I got hurt and my trainer rode him for a few days. His 38th ride he got a western saddle put on. And here he is now at 39 rides with the biggest saddle in the barn on his back and he could care less! #fcgoingsolo See more

Da baby in the family got his first outdoor ride today too at just shy of 40 rides. It was an amazing day and I can’t wait for summer.
