Well so much for not touching the engine.I have rebuilt the orginal carburator with a N.O.S. float and a complete kit. I prefer all original parts, so off came the aftermarket test carb... Started engine and set carburator's air and idle screws... Went to put it in gear..I found I have no clutch. Went overboard,( nothing new, lol ) and purchased N.O.S. clutch cable,clutch inner basket, pressure plate, thrust washer, etc. A Barnett Kevlar kit w\springs... Found and purchased a gas tank, one of the last things I have needed.. Only to fine a better one afterwards... I really want to finish this bike project..

This is the 1972 Honda CL100K2 I purchased back in August. I have taken everything apart, cleaned,inspected, serviced and renewed as needed.. Only the engine has not been touched.. Changed oil.. Filed/ adjusted points,.. Carburator was a challenge, as it was frozen, slide- float etc.. Found factory parts to rebuild.... Have removed must of the rust.. Side covers need love.. Gas tank is a throw away item.... Only trim left to repair\ paint to orginal...

Purchased this 1972 Honda CL100K2 back in August.. Replaced tires, tubes, battery, carburator, air filter, spark plug and oil.. Needed normal things done from sitting from 1981.. Throttle grip/ cable sticky..cleaned and lubed Points corroded sanded contact surfaces..adjusted..Spark plug black with some build up.. Engine oil dirty and old....Air filter element was powder when touched, renewed..etc..

A 1968 Chevy project... Gives you a idea of the attention to details
