Foothills PTECH parents and students: After consultation with local public health officials concerning the COVID-19 developing situation, school superintendents in the HFM BOCES area have announced the cancelation of all classes in the region effective Monday, March 16, through Tuesday, March 31. This means Foothills PTECH will be closed to students during this period. Plans for digital learning will be forthcoming. Monday will be a planning day for teachers. For students wh...o do not have Internet access at home, Spectrum is offering free Internet to new customers. MiFi hotspot devices also will be distributed to those who need them. Details about the plan for remote learning will be posted to Schoology and sent by email to students and parents. Students learned about different career options at regional businesses during the Career Day event at Foothills PTECH.
