What I can say is the Bronx is as beautiful as any mountain, village or beach I've ever logged miles. It's a place that showcases perhaps the most resounding kind of beauty: that of the human spirit. My @bronxsole family mapped a 4.5-mile route in the shape of a "K" for "Kidney," and graciously set the stage for me to share my experience as... a living donor so that others might explore kidney donation as a life-giving option as well. Forget finish lines. I'm learning that when you raise your voice and your legs at the same time, that's when the real magic of running takes hold.
