Due to the Covid-19 situation, I will be teaching students on-line using Zoom until I see it safe for myself and my students to have in-person lessons. To have piano lessons on-line is easy, there is no need to download the Zoom application, a student will be invited through his or her e-mail to join a session on-line. On-line lessons proved to be successful for many students worldwide.

On February 22, 2020 we had a wonderful gathering of the Rochester Piano Club which attended 20 people and 17 out of them performed various classical, jazz and popular music on the 1920 Steinway Hamburg concert grand at home of our founder and president George D. in Ontario County. I played Edward MacDowell's 12 Virtuoso Etudes Op. 46: 4. Improvisation. My mentor, retired Nazareth College professor Dr. Beverly Smoker, played Claude Debussy: Prelude 8 Book #2. Ondine Scherz...o. My student, Dustin S., played Ludovico Einaudi: Nuvole Bianche (White Clouds), the Rochester based composer with international fame, Hwaen Chu’qi, played Hwaen Chu’qi: Little book of dances CVW 53 #12 and Mozart Sonata K332 Final Mvt., Eastman Community School renown teacher and pianist Howard Spindler played J.S. Bach WTC I: Prelude and Fugue in F-sharp Minor etc. See more
