The marquee of the landmark Kensington Theater lies in the middle of Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, after an explosion and fire on Dec. 19, 1983. Three adjacent buildings were also destroyed.

Sorry to hear the news that retired BFD Division Chief Jack Supple passed today. He was a mentor to many, a fire museum founder and supporter, and he will be missed. He was a good influence on that guy in the middle and that guy on the right, too. RIP B-56 Jack.

Buffalo Police remain on the scene of a fatal accident in which a driver went airborne and landed on top of McKinley Monument in Niagara Square in front of City... Hall. The female passenger did not survive and the passenger was taken to ECMC with serious injuries. Buffalo Fire had to extricate both victims from the vehicle. See more
