I've been focusing on my novel the past few months and visual art has been placed on the back burner. Part of this is because of the restrictions due to the pandemic. I am just now starting to see tentative stirrings in the in person art/craft show venues. The lack of shows has actually provided me with the opportunity (and lack of excuses) to write the book I've always dreamed of writing. Never fear, I am still painting and wood burning and have no intention of ever stopping.
Two of my paintings are in this year's Adirondack Artists Guild Juried Art Show https://www.adirondackartistsguild.com/collections/158912
Another #UndyingTales prompt- moor hen. Taliesin asked me why it is carrying a burning stick. I told him it is one of the creatures that stories say brought humans fire.
I wanted to finish up the #UndyingTales prompts from last Inktober. The next prompt was salamander. This guy really wants to be a dragon though.
Here's an oldy from 2008. It makes me want to do some digital pieces again. I wonder how much better I could do on this now.
I finally got my Nanowrimo t-shirt. I've been recharging my creative battery since then.
