As we enter the last week of classes here are some helpful things to keep in mind: 1. Continue to take care of yourself and focus on the things we all need to stay healthy. Stick the basics: nourishment, water and sleep. 2. Take small mental breaks for your brain. Mental fatigue is real! 3. Remember to breathe! This may seem silly but during times of high stress, we tend to do more shallow breathing which impacts oxygen flow to our brain and can cause us to feel fatigued and more stressed! 4. Monitor your physical health. COVID has created an environment where we are being asked daily about our physical health. If you are not feeling well, stay home and consider seeking medical consultation to rule out COVID.
COVID vaccine is readily available in the community. See the latest updates shared by Rochester Regional Health on availability of appointments. These clinics are open to community!
With seasonal allergies starting to develop in our region, how to tell if it "just allergies" or when it may be COVID. #themoreyouknow
The College has just learned that out of an abundance of caution the CDC and FDA have recommended a pause on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine due to some reports of blood clotting. Therefore, our student vaccine clinic has been cancelled. Students who has an appointment scheduled will receive a cancellation email. Should we have an opportunity to obtain the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines for an on-campus clinic, we will share that information with the campus community.
This is pretty big!!! #getvaccinated
Please see the below upcoming opportunity for Emotional Emancipation Circles. Excellent community resource!

Good reminders that tomorrow’s forecasted warm temps will allow us a peek at spring but winter isn’t done yet! Check out these great tips for continuing to cope and thrive!
Welcome to week two of your Mindful Moment. This is a short meditation to help you find your homebase. Remember: whenever you realize that you were distracted, and you redirect your attention back to your homebase, this is a win, not a failure. It means that you just successfully made a choice about where to put your attention. You didn't allow your wandering mind to be in control.
