Happy Easter from our two new team members! Our new friends are male Dorper sheep, a breed that originates from South Africa. Dorper sheep are a cross between Dorset and Persian sheep and are particularly good at handling harsh climate conditions. They are hair sheep, which means that they have a combination of hair and wool, so they don’t need to be shorn like their pen mate, Fordham. Instead, they’ll grow a little extra fluff in the winter and shed it in the sprin...g. These two are yet to be named, and we’d love to hear your suggestions! Leave your name ideas in the comments below. See more

It's blossom whacking time! The implement attached to our tractor has thin strings rotate quickly, knocking blossoms off of our peach trees when driven close enough to the branches. It sounds harsh, but removing excess flowers allows nutrients and energy to go to the remaining fruit, resulting in larger more delicious peaches at harvest! ... Before acquiring our blossom thinner last year, this exercise would have been done entirely by hand, individually plucking small fruits. We’ll still have a lot of hand thinning to do in a few weeks, but this will make the job go much faster. See more

Hey look, it's Tina and Rohan! Thanks for helping us feed the community, Feed HV.

We love to feed the local community and absolutely hate food waste, which is why we're proud to work with #FeedHV to donate fruits and vegetables from leftover CSA shares or apples and other produce that just doesn't quite make the cut for markets. In 2020 we donated over 11,000 pounds of food which was enough for 9,496 meals through Feed HV alone.

Dear Friends, Unfortunately, we have just been notified that one of our field crew workers has tested positive for COVID-19. While this team member does not work in our farm store building, we will be closing our Farm Store for in-store shopping (online orders still available) and the Treasury Cider Bar out of an abundance of caution while the rest of our team gets tested. CSA distribution will be held outside of our brown barn today. ... The safety of our team and customers is a top priority to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We appreciate your continued understanding and support, thank you. See more
