Weekend Walk 1: With the weather turning nice, it's easier to enjoy the outdoors again. So each weekend, I'm going to visit different parks and nature trails. Then I'll share with you ideas for accessible outdoor adventure! For the first Weekend Walk, I went to Green Lakes State Park. Green Lakes is a beautiful park with lots to do. Starting Memorial Day weekend, you can use a NY State Park Access Pass if you have one. If not, there is a fee per car to get in. But right now it's still free! Not all trails are wheelchair accessible, but if you're able to go off-roading, there's plenty to explore. If you're a swimmer and need help getting into the water, they have a Hippocamp Beach/All Terrain Wheelchair to borrow for free. #nystateparks #accessibility #naturelove

Weekend Walk 4: This weekend I went to Labrador Hollow, right down the road from Tinker Falls. I've never experienced anything like this trail before. It was free & so accessible for everyone. The setting is wetlands, except there wasn't much water because of our unusually dry spring. The boardwalk that is in the pictures is actually over the wetlands so you can experience nature without having to worry about stumps, stairs, rocks, etc. The boardwalk is about a mile long and has lots of benches. Definitely check it out! #nature #accessiblenaturewalks #accessiblenature #cnyparks
