ORAL CANCER BLOWS. Please join us by participating in the Oral Cancer Awareness campaign. Help us raise awareness for oral cancer during the month of April by blowing a bubble for those who can't. This month is mouth cancer action month. Our team members got involved with the #bluelipselfies to raise awareness for something that is a reality for so many. A simple check can save your life. As part of your routine check up oral cancer screening is always included. Be Mouth Aware. Not just in November. Always.... Symptoms include unusual lumps or swelling in your neck, head or mouth, ulcers or sores that persist for 3 weeks or have red or white patches in the mouth. If ever in doubt, get it check out. Today is National Floss Day! Great shirt Jackson and a great reminder for us all to take care of our teeth and gums! This would be a good day to develop the habit of flossing. Flossing is recommended at least once a day to remove plaque from areas in between your teeth where toothbrushing is ineffective and it's an important step in the prevention of cavities and gum disease. Dental tip: Try story floss in your car, in your bag or in your office drawer--then break it out when you have time. There's no need for an excuse if you keep the floss handy and within reach.

It won't be a normal Thanksgiving for many, but there is still so much to be thankful for. We are especially grateful this year; for the reminder to stop and be thankful for the beautiful present; embracing the precious moments of being present. Our practice is 18 years old and still growing and changing everyday.
