Flour City Drive-In 18.10.2020

Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex announces the return of their annual Flour City Drive-In. On the heels of New York State’s announcement of drive-in theaters being allowed to reopen starting Friday, May 15, the Flour City Drive-In has the opportunity once again to showcase movies, concerts, sporting events, graduations and comedy shows at a central location in Rochester. The drive-in is scheduled to open Friday, May 29th for its first showings of the season, and will be announci...ng future dates and move selections in the upcoming week. We are very thankful that Governor Cuomo has allowed drive-in theaters to reopening amidst the crisis our State is facing. With the addition of safety protocols, such as online ticketing, physical distancing, and contactless concession ordering, there is no safer activity to take part of than attending a drive-in movie, said Chris Woodworth, General Manager of Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex. "We are equally thankful that we now have the ability to offer this as an entertainment option for the members of our community, because now (more than ever), people are starved of opportunities to get out of their homes. Movies act as a perfect escape, and now can allow us to momentarily forget about the crisis we've been living over the past two months. We are certain that our drive-in will do just that, and in turn improve the mental health of those who are able to attend.
