We’re continuing to work on our dye sublimation photo print holiday lantern concepts!
Our conceptual prototype / mock up of a rotating scene lantern. Cylindrical lantern base is fixed, while inner cylindrical scene panel rotates to change panel scene.
Leveraging on Wolff Hagelberg’s 1890’s Hold to light photolithography cards, we created this special frame, the poem, and when backlit, ghosts appear in the image area! This duplex print was made using Kodak Thermal Dye Sub Duplex Printing Technology. The thermal print sits between two pieces of glass to allow light to shine through the duplex print from the back.
Using our dye sub KODAK 8810 Photo Printer, we were able to reproduce a 1930’s German die cut Halloween lamp shade!
New leather handles and hardware for our refurbished Saratoga Domed Trunk
Flower City Photo Booth's Fab Lab created a new variation of the Halloween Cat Lantern which was printed on a Kodak 6850 Photo Printer. The thermal media allows for both a translucent surface area and opaque surface area for light transmission. The design is based on a classic 1920's / 1940's original that used die cut cardboard for the opaque surface area and orange tissue paper for the translucent surface area.
Reproduction of Vintage Trick or Treat Bag as a Luminary.
Interior of trunk refurbished
We decided to remove and save the drawer cover due to it's fragile state and not use it for any events
This vintage Saratoga style domed chest was purchased during a street sale with the intent to be restored and used as either a photo prop or a display piece for our photo booth props.
