Repost from @rosebudcbd If the thought of women using cannabis-based products during labor sounds out there, it should be noted that narcotics commonly used f...or these same purposes in many hospitals include Fentanyl or other similar opioids, including morphine. And the majority of women in the United States receive epidural medication such as bupivacaine and other synthetic derivatives of cocaine. All of these have rare but potentially dangerous side effects. -CBD A Patient’s Guide to Medical Cannabis @higherlivingrn716 . . . . . #cannabis #cannabislegalization #cannabiscommunity #legalizeny #cannabisadvocate #cannabisnurse #cannabisadvocacy #weed #marijuana #higherlivingrn #cannaisseur #cannabisculture #nymmj #nysmmj #mmjpatient #nymedicalmarijuana #nymmjpatient #itsjustaplant #cannanurse #acnatribe #acnanurses #endocannabinoidsystem See more

Repost from @thegreen_nurse RISE and SHINE It's Endocannabinod System Time! The endocannabinoid system can be described as a an ON/OFF Switch with a Feedback L...oop. It reacts to a stimuli in the environment and then either tells your body to do something or stop doing something with the goal of returning your body back to homeostasis or balance. Example = you perceive danger in the environment, ON Switch is activated into adrenalin/fight/flight. When danger is over, the feedback loop tells the OFF Switch to activate cannabinoids to turn off the adrenalin. If you are running low on cannabinoids, you remain in chronic fight/flight/ stress and may hinder your bodie's ability to got back to homeostasis. Example = you scrape your knee and germs invade. ON Switch starts inflammation to kill the germs. Feedback Loop says germs all dead. OFF Switch turns off the inflammatory response. If you are running low on endogenous cannabinoids, you may not be able to off inflammation switch and that can contribute to chronic inflammation. Example at the cellular level = cells have a lifespan and towards the end, they get a signal to replicate. ON Switch says "Replicate!" Feedback Loop says, "Cell replicated!" OFF Switch turns off the replication signal. If you are running low on cannabinoids, your replication signal may not turn off and you may continue to get messages for the cells to keep replicating even when they don't need too. We need cannabinoids to keep our bodies running smoothly like a well-oiled machine and when we're not making enough of our own then our neurotransmitter signaling systems don't function and we start to see our body systems break down, become out of balance, and this is can cascade into a host of medical challenges and conditions that could be prevented. Endocannabinod System responds to both cannabinoids and those activities that support and nourish this system. Cannabis is one tool and often times the key that opens the door for so many of us. www.TheGreenNurse.com #Liveyourbestlife #EndocannabinoidSystem #TheGreenNurses #thc #cbd # thca #rso #feco #cbda #cbg #wholeplant #nursesofins #higherlivingrn #wnynorml

With parent's being at home with their kids much more often, how can they continue to use their cannabis effectively and safely? Parents need to determine what will work best with them, whether that be strains of cannabis that work best or you or certain products that keep you going throughout the day. Parents should also consider what forms of cannabis would be best in their households. While in close quarters with children, smoking pure cannabis might not be the best idea.... Try vapes, tinctures, or edibles and see what works best for you! Remember, it'll take experimentation to figure out what works best for you! Read more here: https://buff.ly/3nnRUB6

This is so common. People live with constant discomfort and feelings of anxiety related to their digestive issues. This disorder is not just about the primary symptoms. Sometimes the secondary system of anxiety and fear of having a flare up in public can be far worse for certain people. As a person who has struggled with digestive issues before, I rely on cannabis on a regular basis to aid in digestion and related symptoms of Irritable Bowel Disease. This is why I am a patient in the New York State Medical Marijuana Program and thoroughly endorse the use of the Cannabis based therapies. #floweredwellness #cannabistherapy #cannabis #IBS #ibsawareness #ibslife

There is something that happens when you pair a delicious cup of coffee with Cannabis. The combination enhances the experience of both. Here is a little trick I learned: drink a cup of coffee and consume your Cannabis in whatever form you prefer and follow it up with a short nap. If you can time it right, after about 20-30 minutes you wake up energized and feeling ready to tackle anything. #coffee #cannabis #cannabiscoffee #biohacking #napping #floweredwellness https://www.leafly.com//s/how-to-pair-cannabis-and-coffee

Why would someone microdose cannabis instead of taking a larger dosage? When you begin to microdose cannabis, you can begin to get into the habit of taking it! Your body will also be provided with a steady supply of cannabinoids which can help fight inflammation and regulate your Endocannabinoid system! Microdosing THC can also help you gain the benefits of a larger dose without feeling the "high" that might come from a larger dose of THC. The stronger the THC is, the better it is to microdose!
