A labor of love. Working with our hands involves a series of cuts, burns, buffed finger nails and polishing compound in all the nooks and crannies.

Tokens we surround ourselves with for inspiration. Jewellers benches are often overflowing with tools and supplies but when looking closely one will often find small momentos tucked in nooks and crannies that influence our work.

FluxWork has made huge progress towards reaching our goal! Everyone who has contributed THANK YOU. You have supported a studio that is providing a safe + creative workspace for independent jewelers to continue working and growing their small businesses

FluxWork has also been a small business incubator for several independent jewelry brands such as Elizabeth Knight Jewelry, Megan Isaacs, Selina King Jewelry, Nina Berenato, Faeber, L. Jardim, Artifacts NYC and MadeLine just to name a few! I name these brands because I want to shed light on how a small, humble, jewelry studio contributes to several large fashion companies as well as small emerging artists. There are very few collective jewelry studios in NYC and maybe even fewer that have such a non-competitive, supportive environment. It would be a shame for FluxWork to have to close their doors and I truly believe that both the NYC fashion and jewelry industries would take a loss in losing this special space and the incredible work that is created here.
