Hi folks! Today is the final day this page is active, so come on over to the Center of the Finger Lakes to follow us there. If you are a youth between 13-18, under the 'Groups' tab you can join our secured YANA group, which will be open during the week! We will also not be meeting this week to observe the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday so we will see you all on Facebook and again on Zoom on 1/25!
Holy smokes, folks! We're in the final stages here! Over the next five days, we'll be archiving YANA and Trans+ and Gender Expansive Coalition of the Finger Lakes pages, and inviting you all to our various groups. These private groups are off-shoots of the support groups you all attend. Archiving pages means that they will still be viewable, but no one can post new things. I'll be sharing a video in the coming days of where you can find our groups, and how to join. We're so thrilled to invite you along with us on this journey.
Starting next week, this page will no longer be active. Instead, you will be able to join a private group that will connect you with other peers, through the main the Center of the Finger Lakes page. We will post our last day live on this page with a direct link to our group! See you all there!
Interrupting your timeline to remind you that you are a wonderful, cherished person deserving of kindness and respect, just as you are. Holidays aren't always joyful and we know all too well the feelings of being home for the holidays where you are not seen or respected for who you are. Know that these moments are not forever and that our support and respect for authentic you is unconditional and irrevocable! We will be back and here for you on Monday 12/28, but if you need support or to talk to someone before then, please reach out to The Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860 or The Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386/text START to 678678.
We hope you all have Happy Holigays from all of us here at the Center of the Finger Lakes! If you need support before Monday 12/28, you can reach the Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386 or by texting START to 678678. We hope you can find some magic in the little moments over the next few days!
Hi friends! YANA is still meeting weekly even through the holiday break-- we'll be on Zoom at 4 pm on 12/21 & 12/28 to support you and hopefully play some fun games! If you need support at other times in the next couple of weeks you can reach the Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386, online at trevorchat.org, or by texting START to 678678.
October 21 is International Pronouns Day! A Pronoun is a word used to talk about a person & their gender. Pronouns ARE, not only preferred. Today and every day,... you define yourself and we must respect our differences. Respecting each other equals peace! See more

Is your school participating in Solidarity Week? Each day has an important focus topic: Black LGBTQ+, LGBTQ+ Disability Justice, Intersex Youth Focus Day, LGBTQ+ Native American and Indigenous Day, and LGBTQ+ Immigrant Day! We'll be posting and sharing some of the resources and links you can find on GLSEN's website, but we hope you can use this week to raise discussions around our most marginalized at school and with us!
Today wraps up Bisexual Visibility Week! We've been celebrating distantly this year but didn't want this important time to go unrecognized here. Hope it's been a great week!
