Volunteer opportunity for students in grades 9-12 to provide tutoring for younger students in our community. Tutors will be partnered with a student for an hour long Zoom meeting on Saturday or Sunday morning. If interested check it out online at empowercny.org.

Many visits are scheduled for Wednesday, but some will take place the rest of the week. If students are in school the day of a visit that they want to attend, be sure they check with the teacher and then report to the LMC with a device and headphones.

The College Essay Guy, Ethan Sawyer is offering a college essay writing workshop to FM students for free. Workshop starts on Saturday,September 12 from 5-6:30 pm, and runs for 4 weeks. Live sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays. If you can’t make all the live sessions you’ll have access to the course for a year with recordings of the sessions.
