Tip of the day When EQing a kick drum try this tip . Put a hi pass filter @ 30 HZ Scoop out about3 db around 300 hz with a semi narrow Q. Boost the high end around 4 kHz with a hi shelf filter.... Set the compressor at almost limiting with a 20ms attack . Play with the release depending on the beat and tempo. Bring the threshold down till you get about 3-4 db of compression.
