This is a part of a series of programs, co-sponsored by the Faculty Fellowships and Public Interest Placement Committee, and the Public Interest Resource Center to enable Fordham Law professors to profile their public service workpast and presentand share with you how they have shaped their career path. This event is also co-sponsored by the Consumer Law Advocates and the Feerick Center for Social Justice. Marcella Silverman teaches and supervises students in the Consumer Litigation Clinic, and has previously served in the Tax & Consumer Litigation Clinic, Securities Arbitration Clinic, Civil/Criminal Justice Externship seminars and Welfare Rights Clinic. Before joining Fordham Law in 1996, she served for close to 15 years practicing poverty law (public benefits, housing, law reform litigation) with The Legal Aid Society.
