In this week's Living in Faith podcast, Mr. Pinter explores some manifestations of the "Messiah complex" and ways we can begin to move on from this unfruitful way of relating to others. #AMDG https://soundcloud.com//living-in-faith-a-podcast-from-for
Fordham Prep's ability to provide a quality Jesuit education in a safe learning environment with the latest technology is a direct result of your generosity to the Annual Fund. Through your contributions, the Prep can safeguard the health and well-being of our students, maintain our educational integrity with new and necessary technology, and provide additional tuition assistance to students financially affected by COVID-19. Make your contribution today at fordhamprep.org/do...nate and make a positive impact on our Rams. #AMDG #MenAndWomenForOthers
In a recent message, Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Rev. In a new Living in Faith podcast, Mr. Pinter of the Religious Studies department discusses how a close reading of the Bible reveals Africa as the location of many major moments of salvation. What are we to do with this knowledge? Tune in to find out. https://soundcloud.com//living-in-faith-a-podcast-from-for
Earlier this month the Class of 2023 made their freshman retreat a little later than planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The retreat is an important part of our students' first year at the Prep and the memories made can last a lifetime. Some leaders and participants were happy to share their thoughts about the day. Do any of you have memories of your own Freshman Retreat at the Prep? #AMDG... #HailClassof2023 See more

In this week's Living in Faith Podcast, Fr. Bryan Massingale, Professor of Theological and Social Ethics at Fordham University, in a recent interview with Mr. Pedro, the Prep's Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, speaks about how to talk with young people about racial issues and why it is important at a Jesuit school. https://soundcloud.com//living-in-faith-a-podcast-from-for
As you prepare for a full of slate of college games tomorrow, take some time to learn more about Joe Moglia '67, member of the Prep Hall of Honor, the Executive Director of Football for Coastal Carolina, and a man USA Today has called the "best bargain in college football". #GoChanticleers
Today, the Fordham Prep community helped to celebrate National Spirit Day by "going purple". This day, sponsored by the student club, Building Bridges: LGBTQ+ Allies, reminds us of our obligation to speak out against LGBTQ bullying and stand with LGBTQ youth who disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. According to the Trevor Project, LGB youth are more than five times as likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers. Our commu...nity's support of LGBTQ youth is clearly defined in the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus; to find ways to walk closely beside those who are the most vulnerable and excluded. By wearing purple, we stand as brothers and sisters in Christ and show people the way to God that passes through solidarity with one another in constructing a more just world. (UAPSJ). For more on Fordham Prep's ongoing work on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, please visit http://fordhamprep.org/about/dei.
Director and Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Mr. Randy Pedro and Dr. Craig Smith, sit down for a wide ranging interview as part of our Five Questions series to talk about their new roles, how their work aligns with the Prep's Jesuit mission, and what each of us in our community can do to bring about a more just world. For more about the Prep's ongoing work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion visit fordhamprep.org/about/dei.
