A longtime recreation landmark in the Town of Trenton Hamlet of Prospect is undergoing a complete renovation that will improve its usability, access, and overall appearance. The renovations of the Prospect Memorial Softball Field include a new playing field, lighting, fencing, dugouts, backstop, bleachers, scoreboard and more!
Meet Me + Make is an off-site program that takes place at local rehabilitation and nursing facilities. Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute staff take their tools and knowledge to the residents so they can learn and create their own masterpieces!

Our friends at Mohawk Valley Latino Associationand First Circle have announced the launch of La Abundancia, a communal space, and garden in the Cornhill neighborhood in Utica, NY. The goal of this project is to create a safe environment and space for our community members and for MVLA to assist them with their diverse emergency needs. A place where people can grow healthy food, cook, eat, find community support, and celebrate community and tradition together. The Utica/Oneida County Branch NAACP kicks off Black History Month 2021 with its annual program hosted by History Center. This virtual program features guest speakers and follows the 2021 national theme, The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity, which provides a rich tapestry of images for exploring the African American past and present.
