A new compost recycling pilot program has been implemented in some parts of NYC. It's called "NYC Organics Collection". This will "reduce millions of dollars in landfill disposal costs." It will also "turn your organic waste into compost...to fertilize gardens, parks..."and "into renewable energy which can be used to power thousands of homes." Four Points gives this program two thumbs up!
