We have heard many of these points before but we need to hear them over and over again until they finally sink in and we change the perception: "1. Constantly facing challenges makes you better able to overcome them 2. You must claim your seat at the table, nobody will give it to you 3. You must learn to ask for what you want and need... 4. Take yourself seriously even when others don’t 5. Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness 6.
