Franks Shooting Supply 28.05.2021

It has just been confirmed that our APRIL 17-18, 2021 SYRACUSE Gun Show has been CANCELLED. ALL EVENTS at the NYS Fairgrounds are cancelled through April. We are more than hopeful for our September 18-19, 2021 Syracuse Gun Show. We thank all of you for your dedication and support the past 55+ years of Albany & Syracuse shows and pray that we can get back to something close to normal soon. None of us could have dreamed something like this pandemic could happen and bring so many things to a halt, but we’ll strive to get back to succeeding in the near future. Please, everyone, take care, stay safe and well, and God Bless y’all. Sincerely, Sandy

Franks Shooting Supply 09.05.2021

As 2020 draws to a close, let's be thankful for what we have, and look forward to a positive 2021. This past year was one to remember in the retail industry, as supplies dried up, and patience wore thin, without any answers as to why or when it would end. At Frank's we have received Glock 43x, Glock 17, and Beretta M-9, all 9mm semi auto pistols. We have a limited supply of 12 ga home defense shotguns, and a limited supply of 9mm, 5.56, and .223 ammo. We will be open 1/2/21 @ 9:00 am for our 40th year to resume sales, service, and transfers. HAPPY NEW YEAR, Frank & Charlotte

Thank you to all our customers who endured these trying times looking for firearms, ammo, and reloading supplies. We are looking everyday for inventory to stock our store. The sad news is our wholesalers don't have it! For those that call looking for firearms be patient, looking on line may be the short term answer. As info 1/1/2021 GunBroker and other auction sites will start collecting sales tax on every internet purchase. 2021 looks to be another uncertain year. Be patient and buy locally when you can. Frank & Charlotte

Veterans Day started as a day to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country's service and was originally called Armistice Day. It fell on Nov. 11 because that is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. Please take a moment to remember those who died defending our Great Country.

Some words to the wise. Shooting Advice from various Concealed Carry Instructors. If you own a gun, you will appreciate this. If not, you should get one and lea...rn how to use it: Guns have only two enemies: rust and politicians. It's always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you. Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length. Never say "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off. (I prefer the sound of a round being chambered when you load a shotgun) The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes, the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second. The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win - cheat if necessary. Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it'll be empty. If you're in a gun fight: 1. If you're not shooting, you should be loading. 2. If you're not loading, you should be moving, 3. If you're not moving', you're dead. In a life and death situation, do something . . . It may be wrong, but do something! If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about? (I call it being prepared) You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much a universal language. AMEN! You cannot save the planet, but you may be able to save yourself and your family. If you believe in the 2nd Amendment, please forward.
