Frank Stevens & Sons Roofing would like to announce our corporate sponsorship of the Humane Society of Blooming Grove. Having adopted from Blooming Grove in the past, we have firsthand knowledge of the tireless and selfless work they do (on very limited resources), with the amazing animals they care for. We make this donation as per the wishes of his bereaved family, in honor of Richard "Dick" Roberts, of Goshen, NY, who passed away suddenly this week. We knew Dick Roberts ...for nearly three decades. He was the best administrator we’ve ever had the pleasure of working for- a demanding, no-nonsense Marine of razor-sharp, wicked wit, who wanted things done how and when he wanted, and only God alone could save those who didn’t do it right and to his expectation, under his watch. He was person of genuine integrity who brought out the best in everyone around him. This didn't happen out of fear. Rather, it was due to the respect and admiration he commanded simply by being the person he was, that no one ever wanted to disappoint him. Those are the very best and rarest types of people and we are blessed to have known him. He will be profoundly missed. We would also like to express our deepest sympathy to his wife, Dolores and family during this difficult time. See more
