Great success for New York East Side at the first of the National Fred Astaire championships. Our superstar Pam Swerdlick won the Open Latin championship for the 4 time in a row. Great dancing and amazing new gowns! Later that day she continued to amaze judges and the audience with her 3 solos receiving the highest scores and standing ovations for her impersonation of Tina Turner in Proud Mary with both her instructors Plamen Danailov and Bozhidar Elkin. Hard at work!! The new normal.

This just in from our dear student Laura Rolnick: I am just happy to. Dance. Lessons by video are wonderful. With focus on technique, I am learning how to move in the context of short sequences of dance steps. Bobby is wonderful in spotting and correcting errors that might well go unnoticed in the studio. It's not a replacement but a wonderful supplement to actual dancing.
