Major may look like it’s all good, but he’s been here a long time and is struggling with shelter life since his temporary foster arrangement ended. We rescued him over a year ago from an overrun southern shelter and began searching for a loving home for him. As time went on, and COVID intervened, we found a foster family, where he thrived. Now that this time-limited placement has ended, he is sad to have left his family and be returned to the shelter environment. After al...l, he’s quick to bond and he thought he’d found home! Major enjoys play and exercise, and loves his toys. In fact, he’s so full of fun and energy that he’s probably a bit much for younger kids. And he’s not at his best with other dogs, or cats, for that matter. But, he’s such a bundle of love, it’s clear that all he wants is his own family, and to be snug in a home that he knows will be forever his.
