Just like her sister Anna, Elsa decided to have her babies yesterday as well. Congratulations to Elsa who had two beautiful babies! This will be the one and only litter for this girl! Spay and neuter your pets!

Here is a little blast from the past. This was back when I was 22 years old and a year after starting the rescue. What better way of ending a long night at work then coming home exhausted to a house full of rescue pups! Rescue has been my life for 20 years and I would not change anything or done anything different.

Who remembers Seven? Seven was a kitten we rescued who was attacked by another animal leaving her missing both an eye and a leg. We were able to get Seven the treatment needed to make her happy And healthy. We knew the day would come when she would need her leg removed and that day has come. Let’s pull together and get this girl through her final surgery so she can continue to live a peaceful and pain free life!

At 2:30 am our phones started going off over and over from the facility cameras. Wondering what was happening I instantly looked at the cameras and found a very curious Collette. I could not help but laugh.

A huge huge shout out to Lake country veterinary clinic for doing something amazing not just for the rescue but for the 20 plus cats who will be on their way to a new life because they were able to be spayed and neutered and vaccinated by an amazing staff who donated their time and services to us today. Thank you to all the doctors and technicians and everyone who made this day possible. #teamwork

We get calls daily for dogs and cats in need and many time the only thing standing in their way of a second chance is a lack in foster homes available.
