You really should buy a copy of John Scherer's new book, "More Bits of Clifton Park History"! John does a great job of bringing the old tales to life and he matches the locations to our present day sites so one can identify where the stories occurred. For instance, the present Oaks housing development was once a large farm known as the Kittell farm and Home Depot, Michaels and the Halfmoon Crossings shopping center are all part of the property that was once known as the Adsit potato farm. The book can be purchased at the Clifton Park Town Hall in the Parks and Recreation Department. The cost is $20.
