Fun fact every October is National Dental Hygiene Month! This is also the month we eat the most sugar-laden treats, are you prepared to protect your smile? Let’s all enjoy the season without sabotaging our oral health. To keep cavities at bay:... Sip beverages through a straw-this helps minimize acid contact with teeth. Brush and Water Floss every meal Limit Snacking- this allows your saliva to neutralize and work on restoring enamel Stop chewing gum! If you can’t resist chew sugar-free gum If a cavity does emerge despite your best efforts to prevent it, be sure to get it filled before it gets worse. Dental care is always a call or click away.
