It is hard to believe we are in Christmas Week mode! This note is to remind you that the Fulton Co. Office for Aging & Youth will be closed on Friday, December 25th for the Christmas Holiday and we will re-open for normal business hours on Monday, December 28th. COVID VACCINE SCAM ALERT from Lifespan of Greater Rochester today.. ...Several older adults in the Rochester area were called. The caller said for a small price they could get them an appointment to be vaccinated. No hassle. No worries. The caller gave them an appointment and told them to go to the State run vaccination site in Rochester. When they arrived, they didn’t have an appointment. Lost $100. We have had people calling in tears...... PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EVER PAY TO GET AN APPOINTMENT- YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE VACCINE ~vital information for vital generations.
