A Wind Advisory is in effect from 7 AM this morning until 7 PM this evening for the Mohawk Valley, Capital Region of NY. West to northwest winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected within the advisory area. EXPECT SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES! In addition, scattered to numerous snow showers are expected this morning, especially across portions of the western Adirondacks, where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 4 PM this afternoon. Still Approximately 1,100 without power in Fulton County. No Estimated restoration time being given by National Grid. There is widespread damage across several counties so prepare for mid to long term outages!! The Emergency Management Office will continue to communicate with National Grid Representatives for updates. Any updates will be passed along.
