We at The Gallatin Galleries are considering ceasing our use of Facebook in the wake of its detrimental and dangerous actions (or lack thereof) in response to the violence that occurred in Kenosha, WI on August 25, along with years of harboring alt-right conspiracy theories and misinformation campaigns (please visit our website for complete statement). In this light, we want to consider our community on Facebook, and ask: if the Gallery ceases its use of Facebook, will we still reach you? We plan to expand our mailing list and increase communication regarding our programming. We would love to hear your feedback. If you primarily interact with the gallery on Facebook, please let us know your thoughts below or in a private message. We can also be reached at [email protected]
