Continuing in the God of Miracles series, Jordan Richard explores Mark 1:40-45 where Jesus heals a man afflicted by leprosy. An outcast in Jewish society and living in permanent quarantine, the leper’s cry for help moves Jesus to deep, broken compassion. In what ways does our situation mirror the leper? How can we as people who also face pain, shame, and blame take reckless steps of active faith? How does Jesus restore our spiritually leprous state into a right relationship with God the Father?

Jordan finishes out our God of Miracles series this Sunday looking at Jesus healing of the leper. Jesus has the power to heal our deeper affliction of sin, and make us clean before the Father. Our hope is that as we enter a year which is clearly just as unknown as 2020, you would find confidence in our God. We see him perform miracle after miracle in pursuit of His people. Would we trust this God who created, sustains and is actively redeeming the universe. He is faithful even in our darkest moments.

House Church Pt 2! We loved House Churches in the fall so much that we're gonna keep it up this spring! Reconnect with your House Church or join a new one on Sunday Jan 24 for the kick off our 2021 series. If I could gush for a moment - last fall I was so burnt out from Zoom, tired of isolation, and fearful that I'd never get to experience the same kind of community we always had before. House chuches starting couldn't have been more well timed. Even though it felt a little scary to start seeing people again, it was such a life giving time. I would've never put together the random assortment of Gallery folks in our group, but I'm so glad God did. So join a House church if you can. I promise it's worth it! Tyler Cochran

Over the past few months, the Gallery has been able to give over $10,000 in benevolence to our neighbors in needhelping pay for rent, buy groceries, or deal with other unexpected costs. Your generosity has made this possible, but the work is far from over. Consider supporting the mission of the Gallery as we seek to display God’s grace and love to this city. Guest speaker, Yolanda Solomon, continues our series on the book of Acts. Speaking on the power of prayer, Yolanda challenges the church to view prayer as an overflow of one’s walk with Christ. Looking at Acts 4, she shares how prayer is not only for us to engage in as individuals but also corporately as the body of Christ. #prayer #church #bethechurch #faith #hope #love #prayers #NYC #brooklyn
