Here me out please It was not much of surprise to those that know me best that my chosen profession was a Financial Advisor/Planner. For my entire life and even today I am constantly planning things. I plan my days, my weeks, my family vacations, and large group golf trip each year, etc. What I love about careful planning is the end result is almost always better. If every once in a while you feel like speculating and taking a home run swing at investment, go for it. No ...one should ever tell you it is not ok to take a chance sometimes, if anything it should be encouraged. Just make sure that if the chance doesn’t pay off that it won’t alter the bigger plan. When it comes to your primary cash flow and savings that you work so hard for, make sure you have a plan. What things do you want to do, what things do you want to buy, and what people do you want to help, when do you want retire, what do you want that retirement to look like.
