The Gard’n Gate elves have invited the Christmas gnomes to join their pod this year.

The Count Down has begun! Whether it is us here at Gard'n Gate Tree Farm getting ready for the 2020 season or it is our customers (new and old) the Yuletide Season is upon us! Now we know that things this year look different but we wanted to make sure that everyone knows that we are going to be here for you this holiday season. Now there have been some slight changes to how we are going to operate, but we assure you that everything that makes this place a holiday tradition fo...r families will still be here for you. We officially open our doors to customers on November 27th, and our hours are 9am- 4:30pm (you cant find a tree out in the field when its dark out!) We want to make sure that our location is safe for all customers so we will be sanitizing all saws and tow ropes between customers. All of our employees will be wearing masks. We will also be utilizing plexi glass at our register. We accept Cash, Checks, Cards and will have the option to use Venmo as a contactless payment option. We ask that only one family member comes into the work shop to find their family photo, pay for their purchase and pick up popcorn for the family. All family members need to wear masks when in common areas (looking at wreaths, baling the tree, places where there can be other families). We also ask that you maintain the 6 ft. social distancing guidelines while out on the property with other families. This year has been tough on everyone and we know that this Holiday Season is going to be an important one to celebrate Love, Family and the Blessings that we have. We want to share that with you and make this a memorable, fun, family outing while staying safe. We look forward to seeing you, this year! ~All of us at Gard'n Gate Tree Farm

We have been foutunate that Gard'n Gate Tree Farm has been able to prepare for your holiday with mimimal interuptions. Although this year is going to look a little different, we hope to still bring you all of the holiday joy we love to share. In fact, 2020 has been so unique we have decided it's time for this unique christmas tree to find its ne...w holiday home. Here at the farm, we have discussed the many ways this tree could be displayed... perhaps a front yard tree, in your home as an ornament shaped christmas tree, a way to "round out" the craziest year any of us have ever seen, or even hung upside down turned into the worlds largest kissing ball! This tree is special to us, therefore we would like to do something special with the proceeds from this tree. We at Gard'n Gate have decided to donate 100% of the proceeds to The Wounded Warrior Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/mission a charity we think is really unique and deserving. These warriors have given so much for us we would like to give them something in return. This is where you, the Gard'n Gate customers, come into play. This post is the open of our live Facebook charity auction for this one of a kind christmas tree! Again, we feel so strongly about doing something good with this tree, 100% of the auction proceeds will go directly to The Wounded Warrior Project. The winning bidder will get a tree like no other, and more importantly, a warrior will get the help he or she needs. The bid for this tree will open now with a starting bid of $5.00. For you history buffs out there, the bidding will close on the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" (11:00am EST 11/11/2020). It's Armistice Day and it's our Veteran’s Day. At the close of the auction the highest bidder can simply call us and make arrangments to pick up this truely unique tree at Gard’n Gate Tree Farm at their convenience. Three months, November 27, 2020 The Christmas fun begins at Gard’n Gate Farm

UPDATE......Arlo is home just in time for dinner. Thank you to all who helped us spread the word and to those who kept the lookout for him. We are relieved to have him home! Hi all we need your help....this sweet guy is Arlo and he is missing! He is our grand-puppy who is staying for a visit and he has decided to tour the area. Arlo was last seen at our front door this morning at 9:30 am (132 Christmas Tree Hill Jordanville) We have driven the area and been calling him but he has not returned. He is wearing a blue collar with a tag that has his name Arlo along with his parents 2 cell phone numbers. If found or spotted please call Marie or Emil at 860-992-7949. The two numbers on the collar work but his parents are in FL right now.
