Introducing Lake Valley EMS: A New Name, Brighter Future Together GAVAC is excited to announce a new company name of Lake Valley EMS to reflect our growth in the Mohawk Valley and Adirondack Mountain region. Because of the solid 55-year legacy built by our board of directors, leadership and field crews, we were well-positioned to step up when asked to assist neighboring communities in need of essential ambulance service. GAVAC has expanded its mission regionally now serving M...ontgomery, Fulton and portions of Hamilton counties. To make each of our employees, communities and patients throughout our three-county service area feel welcome and equally represented, we felt our recent growth was the perfect time for a change. After months of gathering input from GAVAC leadership, board and employees, we are excited to affirm our coalition and our future together as Lake Valley EMS. By late June pending final regulatory approvals, be on the lookout for our the new logo and branding out to all of our ambulances, vehicles and uniforms. The same trusted GAVAC crews and service with a fresh new look. Additionally, Lake Valley EMS will be joining the Priority Ambulance family of ambulance companies bringing additional resources and national support to further position the service for a sustainable future. GAVAC is getting ready for the summer months, in doing so we are looking to add to our staffing. If you are an EMT or Paramedic apply, and you will get some great experience!
