This September, Gehl Institute hosted its third annual Public x Design convening in Detroit. Over the course of three days, more than 150 designers, planners, organizers, and other public space advocates came together to discuss questions related to inclusion, equity, and the public realm. Public x Design featured curated site visits across the city, shared learning experiences, applied policy analyses, and hands-on exercises. Thank you to all who attended! We were tremendously inspired by your creative energy and passion for enhancing public life for all. Also, thank you to our generous sponsors: the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Surdna Foundation, the William Davidson Foundation, and DTE Energy.
