In honor of our 50 continuous years of our volunteers working to help our community, the Gemm Shop has purchased approximately 45 $50 gift cards from our local merchants. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Trumansburg Food Pantry. The drawing will be held on December 12 at 1 PM. Winners will be notified by phone. Merchants are listed below. The Gemm Shop was honored to receive the 2020 James J. Byrnes Award for Excellence. The Legacy Foundation awarded us $2000 that we could give to another not-for-profit organization. We decided to give $1000 each to the Trumansburg After School Program and the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts. We were thrilled to hand those checks over to Lisa Collins (Trumansburg After School Program) and Mark Costa (Conservatory of Fine Arts) this weekend. Thank you to TTC and the Legacy Foundation, and to Peggy Haine who nominated us for this award.
