Genbukan hosted the ZNTIR Toyamaryu seminar on Thursday. We had a very informative session covering kata, kumitachi and tameshigiri with Hataya Sensei, Hiyoki Sensei and Asami San.

This weekend Genbukan attended the Tri-State Taikai in New Jersey. The members also participated in seminars covering kata, tameshigiri, and gekken. Matt Odell and Marky Kurihara did a demonstration of kumitachi. Throughout the event Genbukan displayed good spirit, enthusiasm and eagerness to help. Genbukan also won some medals.
