We would like to thank everyone for their support to make purchasing two NEW trucks a success! One is an Engine with a 1250 gallon pump and carries 1000 gallons of water. This will be our lead engine, replacing a 1995 engine. We also purchased a Pumper Tanker with 1000 gallon pump and carries 3000 gallons of water. These trucks will be on display Mother's Day at our BBQ. Please stop in and see what you have helped us achieve! Again a big THANK YOU!!

***Update: County Road 2 has reopened.*** County Road 2 between Ott Road and Echo Lake Road is closed until further notice for power lines down. Please avoid the area.

At 10:10pm we were toned for a structure fire at 109 Scribner Ln. Upon arrival of C180 he reported a working fire in a 28x60 double wide with 20% involved. E181 arrived and began fire attack backed up by Truck 217 and Squad 61-7. Mutual aid from Greene, Triangle, McDonough, Brisben, Greene EMS, And chenango county bureau of fire were also on scene. Fire was under control within 15 min and extensive overhaul was needed. Great job by all involved. Units cleared around 1:30am.

Yesterdays evening call.

Tonight members of Smithville and Greene EMS did a training on procedures of UTV assisted rescue of a patient in a remote area. After a short lecture we placed a subject in a wooded area and did a simulation rescue of a hunter down.
