Our Annual Conference Events (rolled out over 4 days for smaller gatherings) start two weeks from today. Please be praying for those preparing, and for the Holy Spirit to be moving among us as we gather!

Please continue to pray for our Genesis team in Senegal doing pastor training this week! Pastors John Tassone, Marsha Rivers and Mike Kuhlkin are there now training Conference Ministerial Candidates. Pray for continuing only God moments. Pray for translators. Pray for great relationships to be built. Pray for those being trained, for deep understanding. Please be praying for our team of people who are now in Senegal! We have sent three of our pastors to train our new Conference Ministerial Candidates. The training pastors are: John Tassone, Marsha Rivers, and Mike Kuhlkin. They will be there for the next two weeks. Pray for health, protection, great connections, and many "only-God-could" moments!

Journey A government-required census forced Mary & Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem. ... A Heavenly Host arrived on earth with astounding good news of great joy: A Savior has been born! Shepherds abandoned their sheep to go see the promised baby in a manger. Magi took the long journey to follow a star. Left behind were home, safety, comfort, work, family. All on a journey, in response to the call of the Lord. The Lord would use all their journeys for His purpose. Life would never be the same. ****** In this pandemic we have been forced to leave behind the familiar. To journey into new territory as individuals, families, churches. God still calls. He can use this journey for His Good News of Great Joy. If we answer His call, as did Mary, Joseph, Angels, Shepherds and Magi Life will never be the same. -- May your Christmas be filled with His peace, journey, and call! Superintendent Pam

During this challenging year... if you are in need, reach out to your church, your small group leader, your church leadership, your pastor(s). We are here to help! If you have been blessed this year, consider helping someone else. Those in your church who may be in (unexpected) need this year include those who own their own businesses, those in the hospitality industry, non-teachers who work in the school system and may not have been paid for time missed, those who are on sales commission, those who work for businesses that closed for a period of time due to COVID, those in non-profits impacted by less giving. (Other groups impacted? List them below for ideas). In addition, many churches have been hard hit in giving this year. If this is a year when you have not been impacted financially, consider giving a bit extra.

Snow reminds us of God’s grace! It’s also slippery. Be careful as the storm comes in!
