3.3.19 - Dominican Republic Update Today, we woke up to a clear blue sky, back in Santo Domingo. We did HDH on the roof in the beautiful weather, practiced the dance, and had morning service by first year, Daniel Brown. He talked about the importance of being centered and focused on our internal goals and the national goal, especially since we have two weeks left overseas. It was a really good reminder for us all. We had Sunday service at the Federacion, where we performed d...ance choreographed by first year Bedelina Miller, "Give Love" by Andy Grammar, as an offering to the members of DR. We also heard CARP members perform a song for the audience. Later, we listened to a service by Rev. Bernado Cruz Peralta, national leader of the Dominican Republic. He spoke about his first experience in Korea and the message he brought back was the importance of tribal messiahship and young people to return to True Parents. That, even though there is a lot of progress with tribal messiahship, True Mother is still sad knowing that there are still 7.6 billion people to bring back to God. Rev. Peralta quoted True Mother, saying that the three loves we should practice is Hyo Jeong, filial love, and brother and sisters love. Later in the day, we played sports, volleyball and basketball, some good exercise and bonding time with each other and some members of DR. We walked from the CARP center to the Federacion for CARP member Takayoshi's farewell party. We ended the night back at home, tired but with a feeling of love in our hearts.
