It is with a broken heart to say that George and Son's has closed, with the passing of my father, George Draganides. March 15, 1937 - October 15, 2020 As all of you know George loved his customers and community more than anything, full of his silly antics and making sure each and every child left with a piece of chocolate. He, my mother Irene, my brother Jimmy, and myself ran that diner for over 23 years. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, a...nd making it what it was. You truly all became like part of our family, and for that we will always be thankful. Please join us on Saturday October 24th at 7pm, in front of the diner, for a candlelight vigil, to celebrate his life, and honor his hard work. He worked 7 days a week all the way to the end, for that was his life. Please feel free to bring your own candle, although we have plenty for all the guests. Lawnchairs and blankets recommended, so you can stay warm and comfortable. There will be a basket for cards for the family, and we welcome you to take a couple of minutes to speak if you would like. We've added 2 new refreshing salads to our menu, to help keep you cool during the hot summer months. Healthy Summer Salad Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber, Artichokes, Olives, Beets, and Feta Cheese, your choice of dressing on the side. $8.25... Fruit Salad Cool Cottage Cheese, Jello of the day, Fruit Cocktail, topped with a slice of Pineapple and a Cherry. $7.25 Come and enjoy!

GREAT NEWS!!!! We are officially opening tomorrow (Thursday June 18th) for DINING IN!!!! Hooray! We are so excited to see everyone again! Things will be operating very differently now, as we comply with the new laws. Some of which include seating is every other table only. Masks are *required except for when sitting at your own table. Social distancing is still in effect, so please maintain a distance of 6 feet apart. Menus are no longer allowed, so we will have flyers with o...ur most popular items, however full menu is still available, your server can help if you have any questions. We also now have a plexiglass divider at the register with a slot to pass the money through. And speaking of which, due to some credit card machine issues, we are only accepting cash until we get a replacement machine. Sorry for the inconvenience, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
