With the snow melted away and the foliage not yet in bloom, it's easy to identify spots where trash & debris have accumulated over winter. The Town of Grand Island & Grand Island Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to organize our Clean UP Grand Island 2021 event https://fb.me/e/19JVVHCJY on Saturday April 24th & we need your help in identifyin...g locations that need cleaning up. If you have suggestions of where we should focus on picking up trash, please email them to [email protected] ASAP. The more details you can provide, like street addresses, land marks or other info, the easier it will make it for us to locate and add your suggested area(s) to our list. One more request; Will you join us to help Clean UP Grand Island on 4/24 from 9-noon? You can form a team, join as a family or come as an individual and we'll add you to an existing team. What a great opportunity to come together as a community and help keep our Island beautiful, and GRAND;-) Plus, there will be prizes from local businesses, so that's pretty awesome too. We hope to see you there!

The Chamber was excited to host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Tarshus Law Firm. All in attendance enjoyed hearing attorney Andrea Tarshus tell us about the valuable services her firm provides. Some of these include; assistance with business formation & startup, intellectual property protection and a myriad of other important general business services. The firm can operate as either general counsel (acting as your legal department) or on an as-needed basis. If you're thinking about starting new business, expanding your side hustle or are in need of legal support, please give her a call. Special thanks to Town Supervisor Whitney, Councilwoman Baney, Highway Superintendent Crawford and all others who took the time to be in attendance, as well as Niagara Frontier Publications for covering the event.
