Families! Today outside the Play Spot, we have items for give away! Please come by and take a look!

Dear Play Spot Families, For the past five years, we have provided a space for the community to play, work and learn together. The Play Spot started with a space for young children to play. We grew with education programs, event rentals, after school classes, and the work and play program. We sponsored community events to build a strong and welcoming connection to the community. We hope your experience at the Play Spot was rewarding as it was for us. ... Today, we make the difficult decision to permanently close. Our five year lease has come to an end. Given the current Covid 19 outbreak, and immense loss of income, we can no longer continue. We thank you for being a valued customer and friend to the Play Spot. It would not have been the special place it was without your patronage. Thank you, be safe. We hope to see you around the neighborhood working and playing soon.

Due to the closing of New York City schools, we will be closing ALL activities at the play spot until further notice. We will update here as things change. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

Good afternoon. As a valued member of our Giocare Play Spot community we wanted to let you know that out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to cancel open play starting on Monday, March 16th for the rest of the month to limit the number of children and adults in the space due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. This is temporary and we anticipate opening back up to open play in the future. Work & Play will continue to go on at this point in time - we will let you know if anything changes. Please make sure to adhere to our illness policy ensuring you stay home if you or your child is sick, wash their hands when you get in and your own hands, and keep your child home until fever free for 24 hours. Thank you so much for your cooperation!

We will be closed on Monday, February 17th President’s Day. Tuesday-Friday we will be open 9 to 1 during midwinter break.

No Greg the Egg this Monday. We will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day. See you on Tuesday!

During the holiday break, the Play Spot will be open December 23rd, 26th and 30th. From all of us at Giocare Playschool and Play Spot, we hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Attention all Greg the egg fans!! Greg will be hosting a sing-along this Monday the 23rd from 10 to 11 and December 30th from 10 to 11. Come sing and play with us!

There will be no Work and Play tomorrow. We will open again Wednesday, 11/13 for all scheduled activities.

Hello friends! Greg the egg’s sing a long will not be at the Play Spot tomorrow morning. He will be back next Friday 8/9 and also 8/16 & 8/23. **Stay tuned for the fall activities schedule.
