HAPPY NEW YEAR! As we start 2021, we’d like to take a moment to wish you a Happy New Year and one full of hope.. hope for good health ..hope for the end of the pandemic... .hope that critical goals established are met hope for prosperity and abundance, and ..hope to run GQ’s sleepaway camp this summer. Although 2020 is now in the rearview window and the year was darkened by so many negative events around COVID, we’d like to suggest that before you close the door to the year, you take a second to be grateful for the blessings that touched your life. At GQ we are grateful for all the players that helped us make CampQUEST@Home and CampQUEST@Home Year-Round a successful reality. We are also grateful for the individuals who provided funds that enabled us to address multiple maintenance and improvement projects at camp. With us having to cancel sleepaway camp so soon after we had just opened camp again in 2019, 2020 could have been a year that passed by without any accomplishments. But luckily with creativity, determination, hardworking dedicated volunteers and funders, that was not the case. So as we give thanks for goals met in 2020 and focus on new goals for 2021, we are excited by the possibilities. We have the chance to build on the momentum of 2019 and 2020, and leverage old and new friends of the organization to help us reach new heights. 2021 is going to be a good year and our Affirmation for the year is: Thank you for lifting COVID and letting us welcome 50 girls back to an improved Camp Oh-Neh-Tah property. We’d appreciate you adopting this Affirmation as well and adding your voice to help it come to fruition. Here’s to a special year!
