This is Gigi. She was surrendered to us after her owner could no longer care for her and keep up on her allergies and skin issues. Poor Gigi was underweight and her skin was dry and completely raw! We put all our resources into Gigi between getting her special foods, treats, skin treatments and even an allergy test. Gigi suffered for many years with these issues but we can proudly say that she has made a huge improvement! Although Gigi’s skin still needs to be properly taken care of everyday; her inflammation has decreased by 100%! Her skin is shiny and smooth, her weight has doubled and her confidence is back. Now all she needs is a loving home! Please go check out Gigi at the Huntington Animal Shelter, located at 106 Deposit rd, East Northport. She is a beautiful, friendly girl who needs the right home to really complete her journey.
