HOW DO WE TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES NOW? - Glen Cove Massage continues to be open, but only for people with extreme pain. For most of you, it is safer for us all if you postpone your treatment until Covid19 danger is passed. So now what? How do we take care of ourselves? ... Here are a few ideas: - Try online gentle yoga. Gentle stretching will help you stay pain free. Sign up for classes via Zoom with Morgan Rose at MorganRoseYoga.com - She is planning to have daily classes at 10am and 5pm (you pay her $10-$15 via Venmo) - Zoom or FaceTime or Skype can be used for tea parties, cocktail parties or reading to a child. Stay connected with people. My book group met via Zoom this morning. And this afternoon I taught my 85 year old mother-in-law how to FaceTime, which had her shrieking with delight. (I taught her over the phone!) - Energy Arts Spritzers can bring a whiff of a refreshing, calming mist into your space. Artisan made and energetically enhanced with Reiki. $10 for a small spray bottle. I recommend Clearing, which uplifts, calms and clears; Buffering, which supports emotional boundaries and strengthens your energy field; and Brighten Up (my personal favorite) which encourages ease, and is for resetting and riding the wave.
